It is my privilege and a great blessing as the Mission Director to welcome you to Blessed Mother Teresa Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission of Nashville, which is part of St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Diocese of Chicago. We are a community of people who celebrate life by making all things a living, loving, and vibrant experience. We try to carry on in our day today life the flame of faith handed down to us by our great fathers of the Church and tradition. We do our best to rise up to the expectations in the given culture. 

 

I am a priest of the religious community of The Missionaries of St. Francis De Sales, (MSFS) also known as Fransalian Priests. I am the mission director of this mission from the very beginning of it which is 2008; and also working as a full time Pastor of St. Joseph Church/school Madison TN, 37115, which is located  9 miles north of Down town Nashville. I reside at St. Joseph Church.

 

I come from Kanjirapuzha, Palakkad district, Kerala-India. I am the 5th of the seven children of late Joseph and Rosamma Puliyanampattayil. I was born on May 1st 1965 and was ordained a priest on December, 27th 1994. I worked as an associate pastor for 3 months, and then as Principal and Superior of St. Francis De Sales English medium High school Koratla, Karimnagar district, AP for 5 years, then as the Rector and Superior of MSFS Minor Seminary Vadakumcherry, Kerala for 3 years. I have an M.A and M.Ed from Indian Universities.

 

 I was send to the United States in 2003; worked as an associate Pastor for 3 years at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Hendersonville, then as Pastor for 5 years at Sacred Heart Church/School, Loretto, and presently as the Pastor of St. Joseph Church/School, Madison, TN. I have finished my Masters in professional counseling from Argosy University Nashville and presently working towards my licensure as a licensed professional counselor in the state of Tennessee.
